Beware of the dropship

We don't mean to harp about shopping in Canada but we truly believe that buying from us is the most frugal option that Canadian muscle car aficionados have. We recently have seen a big trend from many US retailers. In a bid to reduce inventories they are carrying less and less inventory. We see this everyday in the form of dropshipments from our vendors to us so it stands to reason that it is happening to Canadian consumers. A dropshipment is sent directly from the manufacturer to the end consumer so that the retailer does not have to carry it in inventory.

C6 GTR

What does this mean when you buy from the United States? It means that instead of one brokerage fee, you will instead get hit with 3 or 4 brokerage fees as your order lands in multiple shipments instead of just one. Instead of $60 in fees (which are bad enough), you might be charged $240 in brokerage fees. Wow, not quite a bargain anymore is it? We deal with dropships so you don't have to.

SEMA is coming up next week. We will feature a few of the tastiest treats from the show. This Specter Werkes C6 GTR is one of the many cars that will appear next week.
